NSU leads Fiat-Abarth
1970...Bill Allen, 1969 SCCA D Sedan National Champion (NSU-TTS) leads Ed Dempsey (Fiat-Abarth Berlina Corsa 1000) thru turn 6 at Riverside Raceway. In November of 1969, NSU-TTS's took the first 4 places at the SCCA American Road Race of Champions at Daytona International Raceway, Daytona Beach, FL. It was in this year that NSU broke the dominance of the Fiat-Abarths in D-Sedan.
NSU-TTS's came in 1, 2, 3, & 4 at the 1969 SCCA Road Race of Champions in Daytona Beach. It was that year that the Fiat-Abarths were finally beaten. It is an event that the Abarth lovers don't talk about very much!
