The Monterey Historics - 1999
Monterey, CA August 1999. AUDI/Auto Union was the featured marque at the 1999 running of the Monterey Historic Automobile Races, at the beautiful Laguna Seca International Raceway. Bill Allen, 1969 SCCA D-Sedan National Champion, was invited by AUDI/Auto Union to display his '67 NSU-TTS. The NSU-TTS was to represent that portion of the NSU heritage of AUDI, and was photographed among some of the most famous racing cars in existance. The red '67 NSU-TTS is picutred here in the 4th row, on the right, between one of the AUDI IMSA Quattros and the AUDI Pikes Peak Hill Climb Quattro Coupe.

The Monterey Historics - 1999
Bill Allen, with passenger Jack Fjeld, is passed at speed by the LeMans Audi R8 during the 1999 Monterey Historic Automobile Races noontime exhibition laps. All of the historic Audi family race cars participated in this "drive around" on Saturday and Sunday.
